Brids, birds and more birds! 06-12-16

I spent another Sunday morning chasing birds at the Hayward Shoreline Interpretive Center working on my birding techniques.  People don't realize how challenging it can be to capture birds in flight.  It's definitely a skill that takes time to develop.

I find that small, agile birds are the most challenging, but with a little determination and persistence, I can get something nice:

I think egrets are my favorites, and being larger than turns and stilts, are less agile and easier to photograph.  Because of their size, it's also easier to get close-up images.
