This morning I had the privilege of joining Dennis Ariza and members
of the Wildlife and Landscape photography Meetup group in an outing with
the Elkhorn Slough (pronounced SLOO) Safari in Moss Landing, Calif.
Special thanks to Dennis for arranging the Meetup with the Elkhorn
Slough Safari Nature Tours company and to Captain Joe and his assistant
Maggie for taking us around this morning.
On the tour we
encountered many birds and marine mammals, including brown pelicans, sea
otters, great blue hurons, brandt's cormorants, egrets and many other
species.
